The valley Norangsdalen is characterized by many as the most beautiful valley in the world. The valley is rich in both culture and nature experiences. The lake Lygnstøylsvatnet, Stavbergsætra (Stavberg summer farm), Urasætra (Urasætra summer farm), with several old  summer farm cabins made of stone, Geilskredbrua (a stone bridge) and at the end of the valley the well-known and historic Hotel Union Øye.
