The veteran boat MS Hindholmen is a unique protected vessel with a museum on board. This is the last existing fishing boat of its kind. It was built in Kristiansand in 1916 in clinker steel. Original Wichman AC3 machine from 1954. Last home port was Vartdal. He has been looked after by Hindholmen's Vener (Hindholmen`s Friends) and Stiftinga Hindholmen (The foundation Hindholmen) as owner. The boat has been completely restored.

Hindholmen can take trips througout Sunnmøre, both in the fjords and out at sea. See website.

The boat is certified for 60 passengers.
