Damien Ajavon is this year's festival artist. Ajavon is an African-European textile artist, born in France with Senegalese and Togolese roots. He currently lives in Norway. The exhibition runs from June 6 to June 29.

The chef at Hotel Ivar Aasen invites you to a food walk from different cuisines in the spring half of the year. You can join a food journey from Spain to Asia and on to traditional Norwegian dishes. The chef promises inviting and delicious flavors based on quality ingredients. Take a look at all that's in store at Restaurant Varde! At some of the events there are also lectures before the meal.

On 6-9. June and 25-28. July you can indulge your sense of taste and smell. Food trucks will be rolling into Ørsta and Volda with food from all corners of the world.

On Friday 5 April at 1800-2000, Volda and Ørsta art group opens an exhibition with the painter, printmaker and material artist Jan Baker (atelierbaker.no) On the opening day, Are Johan Baker, son of the artist, will be present and talk about the art.

Every Saturday between March 9 and April 20, Rekkedal Gjestehus invites you to a 4-course dinner.

Friday, June 7, marks the start of Trandalrock 2024. It will be two days of fresh kicks and blissful guitar solos.
