Memorial concert Per Arne Brandal //Stødt Bar & Scene
On June 3, seven of the bands that Per Arne Brandal played in will gather for a memorial concert. Per Arne was a talented composer and released several records as a guitarist, and he was a delight to play with in several different genres. The bands performing are: Faculty of Funk, Five O'Clock Soul, Red Roosters, FunkUps, Riff, Uberjam, Bill's Place and Garibaldi Brothers. The concert starts at 19:00 and the bands play about 20 minutes each. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Air-cooled saturday //Gågata in Ørsta
Once a year, enthusiasts of air-cooled cars gather in Gågata in Ørsta. Usually between 50 and 70 cars are on display. The cars line up around 10 am, and there is a short trip to Volda after the exhibition. At the exhibition, the best-looking donation is awarded a prize. The public can vote for their favorite car. The 3 best-looking cars will be awarded prizes, and a trophy will be handed out. Members of the public who have voted can also win prizes sponsored by the trade stand. Sale of sausages, swallows, cakes, soft drinks and coffee. The event is organized by Ørsta/Volda Luftarlag.

"Whanna be happy"? Concert with Volda gospel choir //Hjørundfjord church
Volda gospel choir is ready with a new concert, and is looking forward to presenting both new and more familiar gospel goodies! The repertoire ranges widely and offers both tempo, joy and room for reflection. The choir has about 30 singers and is accompanied by a five-piece band at the concert.

TRANDALROCK, a small unique music festival with ROCK in focus! Several bands from near and far are eager to come and join us at Trandalrock 2023. This year, as in previous years, there will be a mix of talented artists, "tight" rock bands and raw music here from the fjords in Western Norway, and several experienced, energetic and exciting bands from abroad. Festival concert with Bjørn Eidsvåg //Aasentunet
Eidsvåg made his album debut in 1976. He had his first breakthrough in 1983 with the album "Passe gal", which contains perhaps his most popular song "Eg ser". In 1993 he had his biggest commercial success to date with the album "Allemannsland", which sold more than 60,000 copies. Since then, most of his albums have sold more than 100,000 copies, and the albums "Tålt" and "Rundt neste sving" sold more than 200,000 copies.

BLUE BEAT has been joined by vocalist Ingrid Thommassen who delivers vocals of high class. She is both a big band vocalist and sings with artists such as Adam Douglas and Tracy's Gospel Choir!

The mountain Saudehornet straight up //Ørsta
Saudehornet stright up is one of the steepest uphill races in Norway. The race is part of the Alpetrippelen, which is a collaboration with Melshornløpet and Urke Challange/Saksaløpet and is a common cup. There will be both competition class for women / men and exercise class for women / men. In addition, there will be a children's race to Skåla. The race is part of the Nature Festival.

August 24-26 there is a dance gala in Hornindal. Thursday Kathes plays in Grobygget (center). Doors open at 20.00, music from 20.30 - 00.30.
