Christian Gaard has many strings to play on. The company offers both good food and drink and operates both boat transport and boat cruises. A concert stage in the premises houses several regular music festivals. This is a favorite place for blue (surprise) trips and different types of parties are also arranged.

Accommodation

If you want to stay overnight, Christian Gaard rents out rooms, and you can also park a camper or a motorhome, or rent a tent site.

Transportation

To get to the town, you can take the ferry to Trandal from Standal. There is a guest pier if you are traveling there with your own boat. Christian Gaard offers a boat shuttle, which you can combine a cruise on the fjord with a visit to Christian Gaard.

Food and drink

For those who want to come during the opening hours of the restaurant, the menu will vary with what the fjord, mountains and berry bushes have to offer. The menu is set up each day separately, and the hosts cannot therefore inform you about what will be on the menu in the future.

Homemade burgers of vension shot in the mountains above Christian Gaard will be on the menu as long as the stocks last. Dishes of wild salmon, fish from own wedge nets may appear on the menu if the fishing is good.

Outside the high season, from September to May, the offer will be somewhat smaller. It is possible to book a visit outside the scheduled times.
