The cabin is located in the middle of the Sunnmøre Alps and is a great starting point for both summit hikes and easier hikes in beautiful valleys. From the terrace you can look towards majestic peaks such as Fingeren, Sætretindane and Kolåstinden. The cabin has a total of 8 sleeping places, spacious terrace with seating area, large stove, kitchen, shower / toilet, jacuzzi and large party room. They are well suited as a family cabin and it contains both TV and Wi-Fi.

Close to the cabin is Standalvatnet lake with a small jetty, which you can swim from. In winter there is often ice.

Alpehytta has a large meeting room, which can be used for conferences, weddings, confirmation parties, anniversaries, etc. It has tables and chairs for 30 people and table linen for the same number. The kitchen is well equipped.

In the attic there are six beds in three rooms with room for two extra beds. There are showers and toilets both upstairs and downstairs, and a washing machine, turkey dryer and clothes and shoe closet. The cabin is self-service. You will be given a key code. Sometimes there is a sale of rjomegraut, sometimes I advertise "Bed and soup".

Boat hire at Standalvatnet. Both boat and parking are free when you rent a cabin.
