At the end of the Norangsfjorden, at Øye is one of the most magnificent hotels in Europe. The hotel has been a favorite destination for kings and queens, autors, mountaineers and lovers for generations. Ever since the opening in 1891, the hotel has been a place where guests can come to enjoy the tranquillity and the good life in beautiful surroundings.

All rooms are individually decorated and furnished with carefully selected antiques. Three new suites were completed for the 2022 summer season.

From 1230 to 1530 we serve a two-course lunch for everyone. For the hotel guests, the day begins with a rich breakfast with local foods. If the sun is shining, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the beautiful garden behind the hotel with a view of the majestic Sunnmøre Alps.

In the evening, a three-course dinner is served. The dinner at Hotel Union Øye is composed by our skilled chefs and is based on the finest ingredients according to the season. Our butler can put together a wine package that goes perfectly with the meal. If desired, you can choose precious drops yourself from the hotel's own wine cellar.

After dinner, the host gathers the guests in the lounge to tell the story of times gone by, while you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
