In Aasentunet you get stories about what language means to people.

For over a hundred years, guests have come to Aasentunet to experience language, literature, architecture, art and music.

Several concerts, performances and literary talks are organized throughout the year. In the café, sandwiches, freshly ground coffee and popular cakes baked in our kitchen are served. In the museum shop you can buy many good and unique products, which you can also find on the online shop handlenett.no.

The venue in Aasentunet is well suited for various types of events. We adapt the offer according to group size, company, meeting or event.

In June each year, Aasentunet invites you to Festspela. Here you can, among other things, meet current authors, experience concerts, performances, literary discussions and art in Ørsta and Volda.
