Indiefjord 13 and 14 July
This year marks ten years since the first Indiefjord festival at Bjørke. Although the festival has grown somewhat larger, the organizers are sticking to the same format. It's about new and old friendships, indie pop, fjords and mountains, art and culture. The festival was born with the dream of bringing indie pop to the Hjørundfjord, and Bjørke bustles with life every year this weekend in July.
The festival is international, both when it comes to bands and the audience. At the time of writing, the entire program has not been finalized yet, but it will be much the same as the other years; waterfall walk, morning disco, art exhibitions, concerts and other places in the village, disco and food stalls. Of the bands that will play, we can mention Randolph's Leap from Scotland, an eight-piece indie pop orchestra, Kindsight from Denmark, who is predicted to have a brilliant pop career, and Norwegian Dylan Mondegreen with his melodic songs. Many more bands from all over the world are also playing this weekend. You can find the complete program here
