A cozy mountain cabin the valley Haukåssetra in the valley Urkedalen. There are two beds. There is an utdoor toilet and fresh water in the river. Inside there is a wood-burning stove, a gas hob in addition to useful kitchen equipment. There are no bedding linnen, but good mattresses. You can rent a duvet and pillow, or you can use your`re own sleeping bag or your own bed linen if you have got it.

The mountain cabin has a good location for mountain hikes to the surrounding mountain peaks such as Slogen, Urkeegga, Saksa, Hjørundfjordegga and to Patchellhytta (the tourist cabin).

At Urke there is a cozy country store and the pub Kaihuset (the quay house). Ten minutes away by car you will find the stately Hotell Union Øye. Not far away, you can drive on through one of the most spectacular valleys in Norway, Norangsdalen and look at the summer farm under water in the lake Lygnstøylvatnet.
